Tata Power: TVS Motor Company signs Memorandum of Understanding with Tata Power to collaborate on a charging ecosystem for electric two-wheelers in India

TVS Motor Company, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of two-wheelers and three-wheelers, has entered into a strategic partnership with Tata Power, one of India’s largest integrated power companies. As part of the MoU, the two companies agreed to pilot the full implementation of Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure (EVCI) across India and deploy solar energy technologies at the sites. by TVS Motor.

The partnership aims to create a large charging infrastructure dedicated to electric two-wheelers to accelerate electric mobility in India. It will also give TVS iQube Electric customers access to Tata Power’s extensive charging network through the TVS Motor customer login app and Tata Power EZ Charge app across India. The partnership aims to create a regular AC charging network and a DC fast charging network for electric two-wheelers. This partnership will further help drive the adoption of electric vehicles in the country among two-wheeler customers who aspire to take the electric step forward.
