Hybrid design Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray 2023
You can’t say too much about the Corvette E-Ray with all the camouflage, but it does appear to have the slightly wider body of the sports car’s recently teased Z06 variant.
However, it probably won’t look as aggressive as this car, and might even take the Grand Sport’s place as a more touring-oriented version of the Corvette in previous generations.
Hybrid engine and performance Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray 2023
The current Corvette C8’s 6.2-liter “LT2” V8 is expected to remain in the E-Ray, but with the addition of an electric motor on the front axle.
So you look at the first all-wheel-drive hybrid Corvette on the platform that became the car’s first mid-engined version. What do you mean to tear up the history books?
The horsepower should be quite adequate for a Corvette, however, with up to 650bhp possible. If it is a plug-in, you will even get a little electric-only autonomy.
Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray Hybrid 2023 price and release date
The Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray hybrid is expected to go on sale at the end of 2022 and more likely to arrive in the UK in 2023.
In case you didn’t already know, this is the first generation Corvette that you can get as a right-hand drive car. Expect this upcoming hybrid to cost north of £ 100,000, however.
