MXGP of Sardinia: Guadagnini enters the premier class this weekend

After a few difficult first races in MX2, Mattia Guadagnini will ride an MC 450F in the next stages of the 2022 FIM Motocross World Championship.

The ‘101’ has already tested its new mount and there is a lot of excitement in the air as the GASGAS team heads into the Sardinia Grand Prix. Competing at just twenty years old, Guadagnini will be able to absorb a lot of knowledge about the MC 450F and put it to use in the future. It is such an exciting time for him to learn and grow in the highly competitive MXGP division. Everyone at GASGAS Factory Racing is thrilled to see him take the next step in his career.

Mattia Guadagnini: “I had high expectations for this season. I prepared very well with the team, but too often things went wrong in the race. I made mistakes and I also had bad luck! We’re not halfway through the season yet, but realistically it’s very difficult to achieve the goals I set for myself. I thought it would make more sense to anticipate and prepare for next season, especially since I have so many runs to adapt to the MC 450F. I talked about it with De Carli and the team, and maybe this change will be positive for everyone? I thank the team and the management for this opportunity.
