Motocross: Young Manx motocrossers turn in strong performances

A large contingent took part in the 3rd and 4th rounds of the 90 Racing MX championships

A large contingent of young Isle of Man motocrossers took part in the highly competitive rounds 3 and 4 of the 90 Racing MX Championship this weekend at Schoolhouse MX, Consett, near Newcastle.

Beau Brown won both days but just couldn’t get the better of British Championship rider Arai Alcock and had to settle for 2n/a of the two days.

Ethan Blackley rode extremely well and had some great battles finishing well in the top 10 both days.

Travis Meechan put the hammer down in the BW85 class with Harry Shand and Josh Blackley not far behind.

Travis Finishing 5and from day 1 and get and awesome 2n/a of day 2.

Harry Shand also pocketed a 7and and a 3rd with Josh Blackley in the top 10 both days.

Toby Lang, Marley Meechan and Leo Gray were all in the SW85cc class and improved dramatically over the 2 days finishing in the top 30 both days.
