Jan Wagenknecht signs EMX250 agreement with TM

The Steels Dr Jack TM team has confirmed that they will be racing two EMX250 riders for the 2022 season. The team has struck a deal with young Czech rider Jan Wagenknecht who is leaving the JD Gunnex KTM team after competing in selected rounds of the MX2 World Championship last year.

Wagenknecht will now focus entirely on the EMX250 series as well as the Italian MX2 championship.

The Steels Dr JackTM team announced the signing in the following statement:

Team Steels Dr Jack TM Racing SpA has decided to add another driver to our Emilio Scuteri. This is a promising young Czech rider, Jan Wagenknecht.

Wagenknecht, born in 2003, has made an agreement with the team to compete in the EMX250 series and the Italian Pro Prestige Championship riding the new TM 250 FI Twin. Jan is certainly a very interesting profile and the hope is that training with Emilio and participating in a series of high level competitions can help him to grow further to achieve good results.

Soon Wagenknecht will be in Italy spending time with the team in Sardinia to start the preparation for the season. Its participation in the Internazionali d’Italia MX will be decided near the event.
