Confirmed: KMP Honda unveils 2022 rider roster

With the end of last season, longtime rider Jeremy Delince ended his career with another highlight (5th place overall ADAC MX Master 2021). Accordingly, the challenge for team leader Alexander Karg was to build a powerful team for the professional field. In the 2021 season, this was the first full participation in the MXGP/MX2 GP. What is for the new season 2022 again completely Europe-wide will be discussed.

The KMP Honda Racing name is also set to establish itself at the highest level of motocross sport. In addition to the World Championship, the team will of course be competing with a very strong line-up in the ADAC MX Masters and associated classes, which are also international. In the well-equipped competitions held in Germany and Austria, the team has set itself the goal of being in the top ranks again.

As part of the world championship, we will compete in the MXGP with our newcomer Jorge Zaragoza. We welcome you. Jorge Zaragoza is a promising Spanish rider and we are happy to have him in our team.

Jorge Zaragoza:
I’m really looking forward to working together and I’m very motivated to compete in MXGP for the KMP Honda Racing Team. I am also looking forward to fighting for the title at the ADAC MX Masters. It can explode.

In the GP MX2, like last year, Paul Haberland, a German junior rider will start. Paul Haberland will build on last year’s results and use the experience he gained to climb the ranks to achieve Supercross-like success. There, for example, he was already Prince of Stuttgart.

Paul Haberland:
My motivation for this season? Last season I scored points in the world championship and won rounds in the German championship. So I’m very motivated for the next 2022 season. I’m aiming for the top 10 in the ADAC MX Masters and more points in the GP and I’m looking forward to another season with the KMP Honda Racing Team.

The MXGP will also host the WMX Women’s World. here is Janina Lehmann new to the team who represents the team also in this series and has become increasingly popular in recent years.

In the EMX250 class, we also look forward to a new entry. With 19 years, the Dane, Victor Kleemann joins the team. He is in 2022 to focus fully on motocross and definitely wants to be among the best to be in the top 15.

Victor Kleemann:
My goals for the upcoming 2022 season are very high but I am confident that with this team and the people standing behind me to achieve these goals. I’m happy to have the chance to do motocross full time and will do whatever I can to achieve my goals. Top 5 of the ADAC Youngstercup and Top 15 of the EMX250. I look forward to getting to know everyone on the team and for all of us to have a successful 2022 season.

Nick Domann and Pascal Jungmann will also try to score runs in the fort try to score runs in the runners’ fort field.

In the national ADAC MX Masters series, the team will be complete. The two MXGP guys Jorge Zaragoza and Paul Haberland are also there and want to be in the fiercely contested international peloton to ride in the lead.

However, there does not remain, another newcomer to the team in the form of Lion Florian. He was in the MX2 GP series last season. We have Lion Florian on the big bike (450cc) lifted ahead of time because we want to build him as a big young rider. He is preparing intensively on the new CRF450R and, like his teammates, wants to be regularly at the front of the pack. Likewise, he will be in the Reconstruction program to participate in certain MXGP events.

Leo Florian:
For 2022, I have set my sights on a top 5 spot in the planned ADAC MX Masters. My motivation can hardly be contained. I look forward to every training and preparation for the next 2022 season. It makes me proud to be a KMP-Honda-Racing team rider.

Nick Doman:
This year I will be racing the ADAC MX Youngsters races and selected European Championship races. In the Youngster Cup I have set myself the target of 5th place overall and in the European Championship in the races in which I participate top 15. I’m ready to go – I can’t wait to ride my red bike for the machine for the KMP-Honda-Racing Team.

Pascal Jungman:
I have set myself the goal of Top20 in the ADAC MX Youngsters and permanent qualification for the EMX250 races. I would also be very happy if this year KMP wins the ADAC MX Masters team classification.

Alexander Karg (team leader):
Over the years, the international popularity of the ADAC MX Masters has resulted in the field being made up of many nations. We have assembled such a diverse and powerful team for this year. I look forward to working with the new
and “old people” to work together, I think we can bring them with our professional structures. As an official Honda team, we claim to be well represented in all series and to ride in front. We can count on our equipment, the quality and reliability of the CRF450R and CRF250R are well known. We look forward to continued cooperation with our existing sponsors, such as Honda, suspension specialist Öhlins and tire supplier Gibson, who help us showcase the enormous power of the machines. With the current collections of O’Neal, Bell, Scott and Sidi, the Riders’ equipment is of course also designed for style. Of course, we would also like to thank all the other sponsors HGTH Hydraulikgreifer, Föhner-Dach and many others, who make this season possible again. So look forward to a year of action, hopefully again with plenty of spectators on the track.
