Community Health Network, 317 Ryders Motorcycle Club Hosts Vaccination Clinic in Honor of COVID Victim – WISH-TV | Indianapolis News | Indiana weather

The Community Health Network and the 317 Ryders Motorcycle Clubs are coming together to host a vaccination clinic in honor of Juan “DJ Whip” Pyle.

It was the former president of the 317 Ryders motorcycle club who died of COVID-19 before being vaccinated.

William Giles of 317 Ryders Motorcycle Club and Nieasha Richardson, Nurse Practitioner for the Community Health Network, joined us today to share the details of this event. Here are others:

The vaccination clinic takes place October 2 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Just Wing’N It (7834 N. Michigan Road).

The Community Health Network is committed to improving the health and well-being of the communities it serves.

In an effort to reach high-risk populations and provide them with access, Community has set up “pop-up” vaccination clinics in the communities.

The 317 Ryders Motorcycle Club lost its former president to COVID-19 last month. He has not been vaccinated. Although hesitant at first until a vaccine was approved by the FDA, Juan “DJ Whip” Pyle fell ill and died before he could get the vaccine after FDA approval.

To honor her and encourage others to get immunized and save lives, 317 partners with Community for an immunization clinic at the local restaurant where the group meets regularly.

317 has a Foundation, founded by the former president, which aims to raise funds and raise awareness of various community issues and organizations.

THIS SEGMENT IS SPONSORED BY THE COMMUNITY HEALTH NETWORK.
