Cleanfuel Motocross Park, the newest outdoor adventure trail park for two wheels, will hold its first round of motocross invites for riders of all ages.
The series of four (4) stages aims to bring out and develop young amateur motorcyclists in preparation for national championships while promoting safe and competitive riding.
Sanctioned by the National Motorcycle Sports and Safety Association (NAMSSA), the event is designed to raise awareness of the sport at the grassroots level and further develop world-class motocross riders.
President and CEO of Cleanfuel Motocross Park, Atty. Jesus “Bong” Suntay explained that the invitational series is a way to discover the skills and talents of the country’s motocross riders.
“Our goal in building Cleanfuel Motocross Park is to create a safe and comfortable place for children to learn the sport. There are several similar tracks outside the metro, but I’m proud to say that our place stands out from the rest because we offer the best facilities: air-conditioned training rooms, showers for pilots, lounges for members family and friends, and of course, our well-planned and safe track.
A motorcycle enthusiast himself, the General Manager of Cleanfuel Motocross Park shared his excitement for the upcoming races. “This is the first time that we officially unveil our motocross park and sponsor an event like this. This outdoor two-wheeled amusement park will serve as a training ground for young riders who love motocross,” Suntay said.
“We are thrilled to organize such an amazing event. This activity will help our local motocross community to showcase the talents and skills that the Filipino motocross team could benefit from and also promote local tourism in Cavite,” said said Suntay.
Participants between the ages of 8 and 50 are welcome to join the event. The series categories are as follows: 50cc single-speed automatic shaft starter (ages 8 and under); 50cc 2-stroke / 70cc 4-stroke single-speed auto-start chain drive (ages 8 and under); 50cc 2-stroke/70cc 4-stroke single-speed automatic (ages 9 and under); 65cc (12 and under); Production 85cc 2-stroke / 150-cc 4-stroke (14 years and under); ladies class (24 and under); open endure local (motorcycles made locally); open production for beginners; novice open production class; Veterans B (40+); veterans specialist; and the exciting new electric category – the stacyc class.
Meanwhile, Cleanfuel brand ambassador and Motocross Park head coach Kenneth San Andres explained that the categories have been reduced based on the current roster and track capacity.
“The best age to learn motocross is between 6 and 7 years old. Here at Cleanfuel Motocross Park, we allow them to gain the right perspective to ensure that we create safer and smarter riders,” said San Andres “This exciting series of events brings all grassroots riders, young and veteran, together on a safer track,” adds San Andres.
