Brandon Parrish makes his OHS debut at Long Beach

Mads Siljehaug will not be the only pilot to make his Super stadium trucks debut when the series challenges the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach next weekend. Friday, Crosley Brands CEO Bo LeMastus confirmed Brandon Parish will also participate in the series for the first time. Parrish had tested a truck on September 7.

LeMastus posted on Facebook, CROSLEY SPORTS GROUP proudly presents our latest team member for the Indy Long Beach CROSLEY / Robbie gordon [sic] truck racing at the stadium, BRANDON PARRISH, he has endless 2 wheel championships and will start his 4 wheel career in Long Beach! WELCOME! And remember “with age we need a cage”.

While the trucks will mark his first competitive race in four-wheeled vehicles, as reported by LeMastus, Parrish is more than familiar with doing it on bikes. The two met when Parrish was a teenager getting into motocross, and he was racing in the discipline before switching to Superbike at the age of twenty. He teamed up with LeMastus, via Crosley, to form a privateer entry in series such as American Sport Motorcycle Races, Championship Cup Series, United States Formula, and WERA Moto Roadracing.

A former business student at the University of Louisville, Parrish became an insurance broker in 2003. He ended his riding career in 2007 to train RiderSurance, an insurance agency that supports the equestrian community. He continued to be involved in motorsport as the owner of a motocross team alongside Crosley in the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship.

On September 7, about two and a half weeks before the Long Beach weekend, Parrish drove a stadium truck in a test at the series headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina. He wrote on Instagram after, “I haven’t had this kind of fun for a long time!”

The entry list for Long Beach has not been published, although thirteen drivers will form the grid. Parrish and Siljehaug are among a handful of Crosley trucks, including LeMastus. The weekend will take place from September 24 to 26.
