73-year-old woman charged with terrorist threats; stolen motorcycle; yarn and items stolen from construction sites – Your Local News

The Walton County Sheriff’s Office has reported the following Community Crime Awareness Alerts for the Monday-Thursday period, February 14-17, 2022. Please note that an arrest or charge does not constitute an arrest.

Monday. February 2022

AREA 1

Hit and run- Deputies filed a report at Dollar General on Highway 138 in reference to the complainant stating that his car was struck in the parking lot by a white Dodge truck and then left the scene around 9:30 a.m. on Monday, February 14.and.

AREA 3

Flight report- Deputies took a report to the residence on Whitley Way in reference to the complainant reporting that their Hitachi table saw had been stolen from their garage in the past month.

AREA 4

Stop- A 33-year-old Monroe man was arrested at a residence on Hickory Pointe Road for an outstanding warrant.

AREA 6

Stop– A 33-year-old Loganville man was arrested in the area of ​​Atkinson Road and Highway 81 for faulty equipment, driving under the influence and obstruction following a traffic stop.

Flight report- Deputies made a report at a business on Nathan Blvd in reference to the complainant reporting that a motorcycle was taken overnight.

AREA 7

Flight report- Deputies took two reports at two separate residences under construction on Chestnut Oak Court in reference to the complainant reporting in one residence that the wires were stolen, and in the other residence the wires were stolen with the septic pump, the water alarm and float switch.

Property damage- Deputies took a report at a residence on Nunnally Trace in reference to the complainant reporting that their black 2012 Ford F350 was damaged while parked outside the residence overnight.

Tuesday. February 15, 2022

AREA 4

Suspect Person/Vehicle- Deputies took a report to the residence on Lakeview Drive in reference to the complainant reporting two unknown individuals backed into the complainant’s driveway in a Chevy pickup truck passing through the complaint dumpster. The complainant stated that he contacted the strangers whom he informed that they were looking for “scrap metal”. The Complainant indicated that they had asked the individuals to leave, but that they were seen several times passing through the area. Deputies thoroughly checked the area, but had no contact with the vehicle/persons. Additional Patrol
asked in reference to the incident.

AREA 6

Stop– A 50-year-old Loganville man was arrested in the Youth Monroe Road neighborhood near the Church of Latter-day Saints for an outstanding non-appearance warrant and an out-of-county probation violation of Walton following a broken down vehicle call.

Wednesday. February 16, 2022

AREA 3

Suspicious person- Deputies took a report at a residence on Ash Road in reference to the complainant reporting that two strangers may have been browsing through the mail of the complaint. The complainant said the unidentified individuals were seen driving a white Acura passenger car. Deputies checked the area, but had no contact with vehicles/individuals.

AREA 7

Stop- A 73-year-old Loganville woman was arrested at a Vista Way residence on charges of threatening and terrorism following an argument.

Stop- A 55-year-old Monroe man and 46-year-old Monroe woman were arrested in the West Spring Street and Plaza Drive area following a traffic stop. The man was arrested for driving under the influence, driving with a suspended license, open container, possession of drug-related items and possession of marijuana under 1 ounce. The woman was arrested on a non-appearance warrant and for possession of marijuana under one ounce.

AREA 7

Flight report- Deputies took a report at a business on Highway 78 in reference to the complainant reporting that a catalytic converter had been removed from a 2013 Hyundai Tucson. The complainant is unsure of when it was taken since the vehicle has been in place for a long time.
